The Lord with arms open in invitation, welcome, and presence
God is a forgiving God, a God of mercy and healing; a God strong to save. God expects us to treat each other in the same way that God treats us. This is a ultimate prayer and a daunting task; and it is one that cannot do alone. God does with us what we alone cannot do.

Lord Jesus Christ, you stretched out your arms of love on the hard wood of the cross that everyone might come within the reach of your saving embrace: So cloth us in your Spirit that we, reaching forth out hands in love, may bring those who do not know you to the knowledge and love of your: for the honor of your Name. Amen
